I finally made the decision to get lipo on my upper arms. After going through years of wearing blouses and shirts with sleeves, in the summer to hide my upper arms, I thought that now was the time to act. The decision was the easy part. The hard part was finding a reputable, plastic surgeon. So I did my due diligence and researched many plastic surgeons and narrowed it down to two. The first surgeon I meet with was Dr. Kleinman. After spending, I would say a good 45 minutes with him talking and answering my questions, he examined me and informed me that I would be a good candidate for the surgery. I felt comfortable enough to go a head and have Dr.Kleinman perform the procedure. I cancelled the second appointment. Dr. Kleinman explained the pros and cons of the surgery. He did indicate that there was a possibility that I would have to have a second surgery to remove the excess skin, but that decision would take place more or less, after a year, when the healing process would be complete. Here I am 6 months later and my arms are looking better everyday. I have been working out my upper arms and have lost several inches, giving me more confidence when I wear my sleeveless tops. It seems like I will not be having the surgery to remove the excess skin, b/c there isn’t any. The one regret that I do have is not getting it done earlier.
